Producer Andrey Razin Announced a New Album Tender May

Andrey Razin, the producer of the Laskovy May group, announced on Instagram (the owner of Meta is recognized as an extremist in Russia and banned) the new album of the band. It will include a song dedicated to the late soloist Yuri Shatunov.

“I want to show it to you on the 23rd. It is the heaviest of the 227 songs that I have sung. The most difficult, because I dedicated it to Yuri Shatunov. And I, of course, want you to hear it on the 23rd, the day of his death. There are not even words,” Razin said.

According to the producer, the new album will include 12 songs. At the same time, it is not known what the record will be called.

The soloist of the group “Tender May” Yuri Shatunov died on June 23, 2022. The cause of death was acute heart failure. The musician was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.

Andrey Razin has been the head of “Tender May” since 1988, in the last years of Yuri Shatunov’s life, he conflicted with the musician and even sued him for the rights to the band’s work. After the death of Shatunov, the producer decided to revive the group.

Earlier, Razin spoke about the impending assassination attempt on him. “Traces lead, as always, to this gang, which eliminated Yura Shatunov and Sergey Kuznetsov,” said the producer.
