The Ministry of Health reported on the condition of the victims in an accident near Samara

Eight victims of a car accident in the Samara region were hospitalized, two of them are in serious condition, and six are in moderate condition. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

The department assured that all the victims are provided with the necessary assistance. The provision of medical care is coordinated by the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health.

On the night of June 27, at about 1:30 am (Moscow time 0:30 am), a Honda Stepwgn minivan and a Hyundai Elantra collided on the 109th kilometer of the A-300 highway, as a result of which six people were killed, and eight more were injured and were taken to hospital. According to emergency services, the dead and injured are citizens of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into the incident.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that drivers of the Honda Stepwgn and Hyundai Elantra had previously been repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for violating traffic rules.
