Russian Defense Ministry: Russian troops destroyed Ukrainian ammunition depots in the DPR
Russian troops destroyed the ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People’s Republic. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
According to the ministry, the strikes were carried out in the areas of the settlements of Grigorovka and Seversk. As a result, the warehouses of the 92nd mechanized and 95th air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
Before this, the Russian Defense Ministry spoke about an attack on Ukrainian equipment on a railway in the Kharkiv region.
The strikes were carried out by operational-tactical and army aviation, rocket troops, and artillerymen.
In addition, the command posts of two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in the DPR.
Also, Russian troops repelled 11 attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction.
Subdivisions of the Southern Group of Forces struck near Artemovsk, Vodyany, Novobakhmutovka, Severny, and Pervomaisky. On July 1, Ukrainian troops tried to advance near the Berkhovka, Bakhmut district village in the DPR.
