“The servicemen of the Southern Military District and the Black Sea Fleet, who distinguished themselves in repelling regular attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Orekhovsky direction, were awarded state awards at the forefront,” the statement said.
It is noted that officers and soldiers received the Order of Courage, the medals “For Courage”, “Zhukov”, “And Suvorov” and the medal “For Courage” for courage, courage, and heroism shown in the course of carrying out combat missions to holding positions during the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on positions of Russian troops.

According to the Ministry of Defense, in the areas of the settlements of Rabotino and Uspenovka in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the positions of the 71st motorized rifle regiment of the 42nd motorized rifle division of the 58th Army of the Southern Military District and the 810th brigade Marine Corps of the Black Sea Fleet. The personnel successfully repulsed all attacks of superior enemy forces. Up to 180 Ukrainian soldiers were destroyed, five tanks, including three German Leopards and two French AMX wheeled tanks, 17 infantry fighting vehicles, two armored fighting vehicles, an American M777 howitzer, and a combat vehicle of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system. “.
