At the training ground of the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School on July 28, on the Day of the Baptism of Rus’, conscripts were baptized. This was reported on the page of the regional metropolis in VKontakte.
“The baptism took place on the lake on the territory of the landfill,” the message says.
According to the metropolia, 32 conscripts were baptized, they will be sworn in on July 30. The baptism was conducted by Archpriest Viktor Guzhva.
In October 2022, Archpriest Viktor Ivanov from Ufa baptized servicemen in the NVO zone using more bags. The clergyman explained the use of bags for “cargo 200” by the fact that in the field conditions, the paraphernalia necessary for the sacrament was not found.
