In Kamchatka, a drunk 28-year-old tractor driver, riding an agricultural vehicle, went into all serious troubles – he went into the river on a bet to cross it and feel like a winner. But I couldn’t assert myself in front of my comrades – I had to call the rescuers. Emergency Situations Ministry employees had to rescue a drunk man from a flooded tractor. The incident occurred on the Kirganik River in the Milkovsky District, reports press service Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
“The vehicle stalled and partially went under water. The wet and exhausted unfortunate driver reported the incident to the rescue service and remained in the cabin to wait for help,” the press service clarified.
Rescuers who arrived at the scene were able to reach the tractor by boat and pulled the driver ashore. He was taken to the hospital with signs of hypothermia.
