Over the past week, more than 17.7 thousand cases of ARVI were registered in the Rostov region. This figure is 10.7% below the epidemic threshold, reports the press service of the regional Rospotrebnadzor.
As the department clarified, the incidence is determined by viruses of non-influenza etiology, which is confirmed by laboratory data. However, parainfluenza viruses, adenoviruses, rhinoviruses, and bocaviruses were identified in patients.
Flu vaccination is currently ongoing in the Rostov region. To date, more than 12.9% of the region’s residents have been vaccinated. None of the vaccinated people had any adverse reactions or complications after vaccination.
