On the night of October 3, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 31 Shahed attack UAVs and an Iskander-K cruise missile; they managed to shoot down 30 air targets.
It is reported that the occupiers launched the Shahed from Cape Chauda, and the Iskander-K missile from the Dzhankoy area.
The air force shot down a cruise missile and 29 enemy drones.
“In the southern and eastern regions there was air defense: anti-aircraft missile forces, fighter aircraft, units of mobile fire groups. Targets were destroyed in the areas of responsibility of the air commands “South” and “East” within the Nikolaev and Dnepropetrovsk regions,” the Air Force noted.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in the occupied Donbass. Russia launched missile attacks on Ukrainian territory and launched a direct, full-scale invasion on four fronts. The armed forces of Ukraine are repelling the enemy: the blitzkrieg plan to capture Kiev in two or three days failed, the Russian army retreated from the capital, suffered a crushing defeat in the Kharkov direction, and in November 2022, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Kherson and the right bank of the region. The Russian military is committing thousands of war crimes and crimes against humanity throughout Ukraine.
