Vodokanal specialists are reconstructing distribution networks that supply remote villages in the Lazarevsky district with clean drinking water. The active development of these territories, including social infrastructure, as in the central sectors of the resort, is closely related to a stable water supply. Work that is significant for the population these days is carried out in the village of Yakornaya Shchel, where about half a thousand people live, and in the summer the number increases, because it is one of the popular destinations of domestic tourism.
— Despite the fact that the village is located at a considerable distance from central Sochi, every year thousands of vacationers from all over the country, and not only, seek to spend their summer holidays here. Anchor Shchel is becoming a kind of new tourist cluster,” says Denis Yurkovsky, director of the Sochi water utility. — People are captivated by the sedate life away from the bustle of the city. At the same time, the segment of the health resort industry and hospitality is well developed here, with many catering establishments and hotels concentrated. The development of water supply networks and their maintenance in proper condition is directly related to local investment attractiveness.
