Sales of a new car from the Moskvich plant, the Moskvich 6 sedan, will start very soon at dealership centers. The model has been talked about a lot in recent months, and it should go on sale in mid-to-late October.
Dealers already understand how much the new product will cost and boldly announce prices. How writes Autonews publication, in one of the Moscow showrooms, they say that Moskvich 6 will cost 2.7 million rubles for the option with a manual transmission. The version with a CVT will cost 3.1 million rubles. Another dealer gave only an approximate cost – from 2.4 to 2.6 million rubles. This is still more expensive than the Moskvich 3 crossover, which is already on sale – it costs about 2.2 million rubles.
“Moskvich 6” is a “re-faced” Chinese car JAC Sehol A5 Plus. It is positioned as a roomy and practical car for comfortable daily trips. In the basic version, it is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 136 horsepower and a CVT. And the more expensive version has a 174-horsepower engine and a robotic gearbox, the so-called “robot”.
Interestingly, in the spring experts called another estimated cost of the Moskvich 6 model: from 1.9 to 2.2 million rubles. Probably, experts did not take into account how quickly everything is becoming more expensive now.
