Foreign students took part in a rich program at the SKIF recreation center.
Last Sunday, the Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control of the Southern Federal University organized an International Dating Day at the SKIF recreation center of the NKB MIUS.
The participants of the trip were foreign students of IRTSU SFU from Egypt, Colombia, Ecuador, Uzbekistan, China, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, Morocco, Cuba, Gabon, Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia.
Unity games, a sports relay race from the SSC ITA SFU, Russian cuisine, dance and musical activities on the seashore were prepared for the students. The participants were accompanied by translators, volunteers, sports organizers, and photographers.
- It was an unforgettable trip! I enjoyed every moment we spent together. The games were bright and fun. What I liked most was communicating with new friends with similar interests, as well as the opportunity to demonstrate my talent – to perform a song that the guys listened to with great enthusiasm. Russian cuisine, borscht, pancakes – everything was at the highest level! “Sincere gratitude to all the organizers,” said master’s student from Zimbabwe Javangwe Devine Tafara.
The event allowed us to get rid of communication and language barriers and made it possible to make many new acquaintances in just one day. Foreign students at SFU are students with incredible energy, which energizes us for further similar actions.
- Each activity on this day had its own “zest”. Of course, it is very important to conduct such trips. They improve intercultural communication, create new spaces for discussing studies and student life, and strengthen the connection both between students and with the university, at least for the coming years. In the future, I would like to go on a hike with such a group or go on an excursion to the Crimea, the Caucasus,” concluded Cuban graduate student of IRTSU SFedU Sean Bueno.
