Moscow rapper Gino, a member of the group “1000 Words”, died due to the consequences of coronavirus.

Rapper Nikita Ostrovsky, better known as Gino, died of cardiac arrest. He was 41 years old.

Report of his death published Telegram channel Mash. According to the publication, the musician was hospitalized two days ago with cold symptoms. Allegedly, he was diagnosed with Covid, and his body could not stand it – he died of heart failure.

Gino was famous in the Moscow underground rap environment; in the 2000s he was known as a participant in the “1000 Words” project, but then he actively engaged in solo work. The artist also hosted programs on Muz-TV. In 2019, Gino released a song with Oksimiron* “In the Rain.” On YouTube, the video with this song received 2.5 million views. Under the video, Gino’s fans began to leave their condolences over the artist’s death in the comments.
