Filming using pyrotechnics will take place in the village of Karataevo near Rostov and in the village of Merzhanovo near Taganrog from October 12 to 18. Residents of nearby communities were warned about possible sounds of explosions.
According to Don 24 news agency, the filming of the full-length military film “Moment of Truth” is taking place in the Rostov region.
Producers Nikita Vysotsky and Ilya Lebedev (“Union of Salvation. Time of Anger”) are working on the film. The film takes place in the deep forests of Western Belarus in August 1944. This is a special zone where enemy saboteurs left in the Soviet rear operate. Soviet troops cross the state border, the war turns back. A stab in the back of an offensive army can be a hindrance. SMERSH counterintelligence officers must prevent it.
Filming with the use of pyrotechnics will be carried out in several locations: from October 12 to 16 – on the banks of the Dead Donets River in the village of Karataevo, on October 18 – in Merzhanovo. On October 10 and 11, loud noises may also occur during pre-production and rehearsals.
