As part of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry,” the Republic of Adygea in 2023 will receive more than four billion rubles for the development of tourism infrastructure, noted Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. We are also talking about supporting school trips and building modular accommodation facilities.
Chernyshenko inspected the tourism investment clusters “Deguakskaya Polyana” and “Lagonaki”. The latter involves the development of an area of more than one and a half thousand hectares, the creation of 642 rooms. By the end of 2025, the resort will have a hotel complex, six cable cars, and 25 kilometers of skiing and snowboarding trails.
“The project will create a tourist flow of over 300 thousand per year and 650 new jobs, as well as attract about 30 billion rubles of investment into the region,” Chernyshenko explained.
