The former international soccer player for Brazil Dani Alves has changed lawyers in his judicial case in Barcelona for rape, for which he has been in preventive detention since last January, so that the doctor in Criminal Law Inés Guardiola has relieved Cristóbal Martell.

As reported by judicial sources, Guardiola will from now on be in charge of the defense of the former footballer, who among other teams played for Sevilla, Barça, Juventus, PSG, São Paulo and the Mexican Pumas, in the case he has open for the sexual assault of a 23-year-old girl at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona.

The judicial case against Alves is in the Barcelona Court in the pre-trial proceedings, so that the parties can present their provisional conclusions. In August, Alves told the judge that he informed her of his prosecution for allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman who did not agree with the facts attributed to her, but that he would not resort to “expediting” the procedure.

In the indictment, the magistrate of the 15th Court of Instruction of Barcelona collects the evidence she has against Alves and states that the complainant went to the Sutton nightclub with her cousin and a friend, they entered the VIP area and a waiter insisted to them, saying that there was a boy who wanted to meet them.

Finally, they agreed and went to the table where Alves and a friend of his were: the footballer told them that he played petanque in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) and “started fooling around with the three of them”, while the complainant did not. He had recognized it until other kids at the club told him who the player was.

The girl and Alves were dancing and stayed together when the other young women went to the other side of the table: then, the judge explains that he “on two occasions took her hand and put it on his penis,” and she moved away. the hand both times.

During the night, Alves called to the girl from a door – which was behind the table and was the exclusive toilet for that VIP table – to come closer, and upon entering he saw that it was a small toilet with a toilet and a washbasin.

Once the girl entered, Alves “closed the door, and pulled her forcefully towards his body” while the young woman told him to stop and let her out, but he did not listen to her, he pulled up her dress, he allegedly tried to force her to gave him fellatio and then slapped her and sexually assaulted her.

Afterwards, he did not let her leave the bathroom and made her wait for him to come out first, and the judge adds that the footballer did not speak to her again even though he crossed paths with her when she was leaving the nightclub.
