Soviet theater and film actor Andrei Urgant spoke out about the disappearance of the show “Evening Urgant” from the broadcast stacks. In an interview with RTVI, he stated that the program of his son Ivan was closed undeservedly.
“They just closed it just in case. And just in case, local officials, as always, just in case, do not allow him to speak anywhere: what if, what if Moscow says something like that, or sees something like that in it,” Urgant Sr. believes.
The actor emphasized that he does not know whether the program will return to air on Channel One. He suggested that the holding’s general director, Konstantin Ernst, should “coordinate this with the Kremlin.”
Earlier, Ivan Urgant’s father recalled how the showman worked as a dishwasher in a nightclub. Read more about this in the proposed material.
