Morozova: In the DPR since 2014, 230 children have been killed by Ukrainian shelling


The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Daria Morozova, said that 230 children were killed and 821 were injured from Ukrainian shelling during the fighting that took place on the territory of the republic.

During a press conference held on the sidelines of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, Morozova shared the following information: “In the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic alone, over nine years of hostilities, 230 children were killed as a result of Ukrainian shelling.”

She emphasized that 821 children were injured of varying degrees of severity, many of them were left orphans, and more than 30 children were disabled.

Let us recall that on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his address to the people, announced the start of a military special operation in Ukraine. The head of state outlined the goals of the SVO to protect the residents of Donbass from the Kyiv regime, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of the Ukrainian state.
