Nutritionist Mikhaleva advised not to give children juices and ready-made breakfasts

Nutritionist Oksana Mikhaleva, in a conversation with Gazeta.ru, urged Russians to exclude sweet dairy products, juices and ready-made breakfasts from their children’s diet.

“The main danger of such products is that in most cases they contain large amounts of sugar, preservatives, stabilizers, dyes, flavors, flavor enhancers and other additives that cannot be called healthy,” the doctor explained.

According to her, it is important to pay attention to the composition.

In addition, the doctor recommended giving the child water and natural dairy products along with juices, and instead of ready-made breakfasts – porridge and muesli.

Meanwhile, nutritionist Alexandra Razarenova spoke about the benefits of cheesecakes. According to her, the dish has a high insulin index and can lead to diabetes in combination with other foods. The specialist added that additional enrichment of the body with carbohydrates in the form of jam and condensed milk will increase glucose levels.
