Olancho could not visit Olimpia and fell 1-0


Olimpia took the victory by the slightest difference against Olancho, in the match played this Wednesday. The local team scored the only goal of the game 17 minutes into the first half, through Brayan Moya. After receiving an assist from José Pinto, the forward shot at the goal and beat the rival goalkeeper to score his goal.

The best player of the match was Brayan Moya. The Olimpia attacker scored 1 goal and shot into the opponent’s goal 3 times.

Edrick Menjívar also stood out at the National stadium. The Olimpia goalkeeper excelled by saving 4 shots.

The game was interrupted due to the number of fouls committed by both teams. There were several reprimands: Carlos Fernández, Fabricio Silva, Héctor Castellanos, Nelson Muñoz and José García. Referee Julio Guity was in charge of supervising the game at the National Stadium.

On the next date Olimpia will face Motagua as a visitor, while Olancho will play at home against CD Real Sociedad. Olimpia is preparing to experience the capital derby, a duel full of passion with its historic adversary.

With this result, the host of the match reaches 29 points and is at the top of the table. For its part, the visiting team remains at 14 points and is in seventh place in the tournament.
