Putin: Ukraine aims to damage Turkish Stream

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Kyiv aims to damage the Turkish Stream.

Speaking on the sidelines of Valdai, Putin noted that in places where unmanned boats are being trained for such attacks, English is spoken. The head of state explained that Russia continues to supply gas to Europe through the Turkish Stream.

Putin, speaking about undermining the Nord Streams, noted the following: “And, apparently, Ukrainian terrorist groups are aimed at causing damage to it too.”

At the same time, the president assured that Russian ships are protecting pipeline systems that are laid along the bottom of the Black Sea.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow has information that indicates attempts to blow up the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream gas pipelines in the Black Sea.
