The attempts to Rosselli Amuruz for staying out of the eye of the storm, in the case of the murder of a communicator at the Lince party at the hands of Abel Valdivia Montoya, have been unsuccessful. Although at first he tried to distance himself from the event that terribly marked his partner’s birthday, Paul García Oviedo, stating that he was not in the place at the time of the incident, but witnesses to the event affirm the opposite.
As more information became known about the event that occurred in Lince’s house last Sunday, October 1, there were more doubts than certainties regarding how involved the third vice president of the Board of Directors in fact; especially because no statement had been issued regarding the fact on their part. Given this, Amuruz’s warning arrived on the same Sundayin the afternoon, and seeking to distance himself from any criminal involvement.
“I attended a social gathering from which I left before midnight. Today I learned about what happened abroad through the media. I do not know the reasons and I request a quick investigation to determine the culprits,” Rosselli Amuruz said in that statement, avoiding giving more details. The statement was clear that was not present at the time of the events, However, the congresswoman would have lied in this statement.
A report revealed by The Republic This Thursday showed a series of advances in the investigations carried out by the National Police in this case and revealed two equally important details. The first, that the congresswoman Rossellí Amuruz would have lied in his clarification, as detailed by witnesses; and the second, that due to his presence, the PNP had planned to interrogate her about the incident.
According to the report by journalist Doris Aguirre, the head of the Investigation Directorate Criminal (Dirincri), Luis Flores Solis, denied the version issued by Amuruz, and confirmed that she was at the scene when Abel Valdivia Montoya shot Christian Enrique Tirado. Flores Solis assured this fact based on the statements of witnesses and those involved in the murder.”
“According to the version of the witnesses and those involved, Congresswoman Amuruz was present and, after becoming aware of the bloody event, she left the premises along with other people,” the general stated for said medium.
These statements completely contradict what the congresswoman claimed had happened on Saturday night at the birthday celebration of her partner, but which she denies, to avoid questions regarding the jobs she Paul García’s associates have in Congress.
As a consequence of the implications issued by various witnesses to the event, the third vice president of Congress has been included among the people cited by the National Police to issue his defense regarding the incident.
General Flores Solis confirmed this fact. “Of course yes, she has to be summoned (Amuruz) because there is a tax provision. And not only the congresswoman, but also different people who have been identified and we know that they have participated in the event,” added the agent of the Dirincri.
The interviews with those involved close to Amuruz have already begun, although not in the best terms. Last Wednesday, October 4, it was learned that both his partner, Paul García Oviedo; as well as the main suspect in the case, Abel Valdivia Montoya; They had been summoned to the National Police to be questioned, in a procedure that Amuruz would also have to attend to. However, neither of them showed up for said appointment.
