Slovak President Zuzana Caputova decided to suspend military assistance to Kyiv. This is due to the recent victory of the anti-Ukrainian party “Direction – Social Democracy” in the parliamentary elections, writes Dennik N. The information is reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
“The Ministry of Defense has considered the possibility of providing Ukraine with another package of military assistance <...>, but President Zuzana Caputova, who is politically responsible for the government, is against this intention,” the authors of the article emphasized.
At the same time, Caputova stated that she respects the results of democratic elections. She emphasized that in this case it is impossible to ignore the winning politicians and their views, since this could set a bad precedent in the future.
Earlier it was reported that Kyiv had lost the support of Poland and Slovakia. More about this read the material Public News Service.
