Switzerland will pay Ukrainian refugees $4,000 to leave

The Swiss authorities announced their readiness to pay about four thousand dollars to citizens who fled from Ukrainian territory in order for them to return. The local authorities came to the appropriate decision, confident that this would be easier than paying benefits to Ukrainians.

“The Cabinet of Ministers came to the conclusion that it is more profitable for Switzerland to encourage Ukrainians to voluntarily leave the country than to pay them benefits. The authorities also fear that after a long stay, Ukrainians will not want to leave the country,” the SwissInfo newspaper describes the current situation.

The authorities are convinced of the fact that an amount of one thousand to four thousand per person will be sufficient motivation for Ukrainian citizens to leave the country. How much money is paid will be determined by the time of departure.
