The Pentagon announced plans to hold a meeting on military assistance to Ukraine


Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Charles Brown intend to take part in a contact group meeting to discuss military assistance to Ukraine. TASS reports this.

US defense spokesman Patrick Ryder said the event is scheduled for October 11.

“After the meeting on Ukraine, Austin will take part in a meeting of NATO defense ministers,” the Pentagon clarified.

Earlier it was reported that, according to the head of the temporary special commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on monitoring the receipt and use of Western weapons, Alexandra Ustinova, without US support, Kiev will run out of weapons in a month.
