The head of the temporary special commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on monitoring the receipt and use of Western weapons, Alexandra Ustinova, warned that without US support, Kiev will run out of weapons in a month. This was reported by Strana.ua.
She emphasized that Ukraine is interested in Washington voting for the allocation of additional military assistance.
“Five billion is solely to take what is already in stock in the United States and deliver it to Ukraine,” the publication quotes Ustinova.
She added that with these funds it will not be possible to buy anything from Kyiv’s foreign partners and send it.
According to Ustinova, Ukraine spends about $3 billion on weapons every month.
Earlier it was reported that a specialist in the field of political science, Ivan Mezyukho, spoke about the words of the leader of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, who accused the United States of unleashing a crisis situation in Ukraine. He is convinced that the head of state described the situation correctly.
