Ukraine announced an increase in the incidence of COVID-19

The number of coronavirus cases continues to grow in Ukraine, with the peak incidence expected in November. TASS reports this with reference to a statement by the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Igor Kuzin.

It is alleged that last week 4 thousand cases of coronavirus were recorded in Ukraine, although only 2.5 thousand were detected a week earlier. Kuzin noted that nine people died from complications caused by the coronavirus last week. All of them were over 65 years old.

Kuzin is confident that the increase in the number of coronavirus cases is associated with the beginning of the epidemic season. He noted that the peak incidence will most likely be in November. The doctor also said that he was alarmed by the increase in the incidence of infection among children.

Earlier, TV presenter and Honored Doctor of Russia Alexander Myasnikov said that to prevent a new pandemic it is necessary to follow the recommendations of Roszdravnadzor. Read more about this in material Public News Service.
