A group of young students from Tec de Monterrey was harshly accused on digital platforms after participating in a video where they were questioned about what salary they expected in their first job after graduate from university.

And, without further ado, the students gave some figures that for the average Mexican could be inaccessible.

Through TikTok the user identified as David Hazouri (@soydavidhazouri) who went to one of the Tec de Monterrey headquarters to ask the students how much they would like to earn per month as recent graduates.

The first student said without saying a word that he expected 145 thousand pesos monthly. Another young man said 100, a couple more were in the range between 40 and 50 thousand. A couple more agreed that they were expecting between 10,000 and 14,000.

Internet users pointed out that these were not real expectations

Although the students who gave more moderate figures did not receive criticism, the others were not spared.

“Those from 50k and up are from the race Inheritance Administration”. Do they say you or me? “The only way is for them to become managers in daddy’s company. “Which would happen,” some said, while others added:

“The only way is for them to become managers in daddy’s company. Which if happened.” “In the TEC, about 60% come out with contacts or are relatives of businessmen, so they can go out and earn more than 50 a month,” are some of the mentions.
