Scientific Director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand said that drivers in Moscow should not worry about changing tires before the end of October.
“Changing tires is pointless, the wet snow will disappear quickly, and although the cold snap is noticeable, it is usually not recommended to change tires before the end of October,” the forecaster said.
In a conversation with AGN “Moscow”, Vilfand warned that cold snap will come to the capital by the weekend and will last until about next Wednesday.
“There will be a gradual increase in temperature, but after such a sharp cold snap, even an increase to plus 10 degrees will seem like very warm weather,” the expert noted.
The Samara region will soon be covered by a cyclone, which will bring cold temperatures and precipitation in the form of sleet to the region. More details read the material Public News Service.
