The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is now in Granada to participate in the Third Summit of the European Political Community (EPC). This is what he himself announced through his social networks: “I have arrived in Granada, Spain, to participate in the summit of the European Political Community,” he said. “Our common goal is to guarantee the security and stability of our common European home,” he added.
His arrival, as usual, was unknown as maximum security was preserved due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This country is part of the European Political Community, a platform that was born last year at the initiative of the French president, Emmanuel Macronprecisely in the context of the war started by Vladimir Putin.
This brings together the 27 leaders of the EU Member States and those of other 17 European countries that are not part of the Twenty-Seven, such as the United Kingdom. In this sense, it is celebrated in Granada within the framework of the Spanish presidency of the European Union. This third important meeting of debate and reflection will address political conflicts, and will serve as a stage to once again demonstrate the unity of the entire continent against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.
