35% of Ural residents asked Father Frost for a salary increase

35% of working residents of the Sverdlovsk region would like to ask Father Frost for an increase in wages. Most often, builders, transport and logistics workers, as well as personnel management specialists dream of this. Sociologists of the recruiting platform HeadHunter told about this.

Also, as a gift from a fairy-tale wizard, the respondents would like to get a new profession (20%). Most often, residents of the region dream of mastering the IT sector (42%). Other sectors are of much less interest: marketing would like to master 16%, art, logistics, finance and medicine – 8% each, jurisprudence – 5%.

12% of Sverdlovsk residents would wish Santa Claus the development of competencies in their current profession, as well as recognition of labor merits, another 8% – training in an additional profession. In addition, 4% of respondents dream of promotion.

Thinking about the criterion by which one should choose a profession in 2023, 55% of the Urals people named salary, 39% – the prospect of career growth, 37% – the demand for the profession, 33% – the prospect of the industry, 31% – stability.

HeadHunter experts also found out that if Sverdlovsk residents could choose any profession in 2023, then 22% of them would become IT specialists, 20% – designers, 10% – travelers, 8% – economists, 6% – marketers, 4 % – bloggers and policemen, 2% each – actors, doctors, coaches and teachers. Another 16% would choose other options (among them there were a massage therapist, a director, a writer, a translator, a photographer, a scientist, an engineer, and others).
