A resident of Listvyanka, Ryazan district, was threatened with a knife
A 47-year-old resident of the village of Listvyanka, Ryazan district, turned to the police. She reported that her drunken husband threatened to stab her with a kitchen knife. This was reported by the website of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs on December 16.
A police squad rushed to the spot. There was a district police officer in the operational-investigative group.
According to preliminary data, the victim reproached the 44-year-old husband for spending money when he came home drunk. The man got angry and grabbed his knife. Waving it, he threatened that he would stab his wife. The woman was frightened, ran out of the house and called the police.
When the police arrived at the scene, the man was still holding the knife. The district police officer forced him to put it off, who talked to the man and calmed him down.
A criminal case was initiated against him under Part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Threat to kill”). The article provides for up to two years in prison.
