To meet the demand of passengers during the New Year and Christmas holidays, ten additional trains have been assigned within the borders of the North Caucasian Railway. At the end of December and the first ten days of January, they will make 158 flights. Additional trains will connect Adler, Vladikavkaz, Kislovodsk, Novorossiysk and Moscow. In addition, trains are traditionally assigned between Rostov-on-Don and the stations of the Black Sea coast and Caucasian Mineralnye Vody, as well as between Vladikavkaz and Adler, Mineralnye Vody and Anapa.
It is predicted that the peak departure dates for passengers will be December 29 and 30, 2022, as well as January 6, 7 and 8, 2023.
If there is an increased demand for travel, it is possible to include additional wagons in the already assigned trains.
During the New Year and Christmas holidays, trains will also be organized for the transportation of organized groups of children and special tourist trains.
For lovers of skiing, the “Ski Arrow” is assigned with the message Rostov-on-Don – Rosa Khutor. On the train, it will be possible to transport sports equipment free of charge and purchase a ski pass from the conductor. And on the Black Sea coast during the New Year holidays, the Sochi tourist train will run between Tuapse and Gagra.
