Andrey Makarov, Chairman of the RF State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes: “The Ryazan region has been better this year than the national average”

Andrey Makarov, chairman of the Committee on Budget and Taxes of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the Ryazan region, said this on December 16, during a public report on his deputy work to the residents of the region.

The report took place at the site of the collective work space “Boiling Point”. The meeting was attended by heads of authorities, deputies of the Ryazan Regional Duma, the head of the administration of the city of Ryazan Elena Sorokina. As well as the heads of a number of municipalities, representatives of public organizations, residents of Ryazan.

Andrey Makarov noted that in 2022, in the face of unprecedented pressure on Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation and the State Duma of the Russian Federation have been working in close cooperation since the first days of budget formation. Among the priority tasks are the implementation of the instructions outlined in the Addresses of the President of the Russian Federation in 2020-2021, financial support for the social obligations of the state, the technological independence of the state, as well as support for the regions.

During the report, Makarov clearly presented information about the dynamics of the development of the Ryazan region in 2022 against the all-Russian background. So, it was about indicators of GDP growth, unemployment and wages.

“We see that the Ryazan region has gone through this year better than the national average. For 2022, this is the most important indicator. It demonstrates what foundation we are laying for 2023 to solve problems,” Andrey Makarov emphasized.

In the course of communication with the people of Ryazan, it was about the implementation of the Address of the President of the Russian Federation in the region. According to Andrei Makarov, in the Ryazan region, payments are made in full for children from 3 to 7 years old. The social contract has spread. Children’s art schools, rural recreation centers and libraries are being repaired, schools are being built. Active work is underway to modernize primary health care. For example, 13 FAPs and a medical outpatient clinic were built. Next year plans to build 15 feldsher-obstetric stations. In addition, compared to 2021, the fleet of ambulance services and schools has been significantly updated.

“This is the concrete support that people in the Ryazan region receive based on the decisions of the President of Russia and at the expense of the federal budget,” the State Duma deputy noted.

Andrey Makarov paid special attention to federal and regional support for mobilized citizens. He urged them to provide all possible assistance to their families, surrounding them with attention and care.

Summing up the results of the meeting with the residents of the region, Andrey Makarov emphasized:

“Today I tried to show how federal decisions are being transformed at the regional level, and most importantly, how they affect the lives of citizens. A tough year lies ahead. If earlier we could say that everything depends only on us, now there are many factors that we cannot influence. But with our work, we can influence how these factors affect people. Therefore, supporting citizens is a key task. It was outlined by the President of the country, and all of us, each in his own place, will have to decide.”
