Apple moves out of the Romanov Dvor business center next to the Kremlin

Apple has left the Russian market and does not officially supply goods to Russia. Everything that is in stores is a parallel import.

Nevertheless, the American company retained the lease of premises in the Romanov Dvor business center. Apple moved closer to the Kremlin – to Romanov Lane – in 2017, before the company’s main office in Russia was located in the “Berlin House” on Petrovka.

RBC writesthat, according to the Unified State Register of Real Estate, Apple is renting premises in Romanov Dvor until January 2025. However, the publication’s sources in the commercial real estate market report that the company is currently negotiating the terms of termination of the contract. According to one of the sources, the decision was made after the announcement of partial mobilization.

In any case, it is clear that the sign is alarming. Recently it became known about the problems with the Google office, which is located in the Baltschug Plaza business center – the IT company owed rent, filed to court. The media wrote that both Apple and Google, after the start of partial mobilization, finally moved their employees to other countries.
