Madrid, Oct 30 (EFE).- Prices rose 3.5% in October, the same as in September, so the inflation rate remains stable, due to lower fuel prices and a less intense rise. of foods and non-alcoholic beverages.

According to the advance data of the consumer price index (CPI) published this Monday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), this behavior of inflation highlights the upward influence of electricity, whose prices are reduced less than in October 2022, when they had a sharp drop.

For its part, the estimated annual variation rate of core inflation – the index without unprocessed food or energy products – decreased six tenths, to 5.2%, the lowest rate since June of last year. EFE
