Employment: more than 61,000 Donetsk residents found work in 2022

In the Rostov region, the number of unemployed citizens continues to decline. To date, this figure is 10.7 thousand people. The level of registered unemployment fell to 0.5%, the Don government reported.

Specialists of the regional employment service conduct preventive monitoring of the dismissal of employees in connection with the liquidation of organizations or the reduction in the number or staff of employees, as well as underemployment of employees of organizations.

  • The employment service takes all measures to ensure the sustainable development of the regional labor market. I would like to note that there were no major dismissals of employees of the enterprises of the region this year. All enterprises are required to post information about changes in the number of employees on the Work in Russia digital platform. As of December 12, 230 organizations in the region posted information about the possible release of 2,626 employees. But this does not mean that the indicated number of people will need to look for a new job, because the concept of “risk of being fired” does not always mean dismissal,” said Sergey Grigoryan, head of the state employment service of the Rostov region.

For example, the region is currently undergoing a reorganization of the health service. Measures are being taken to transfer municipal health care institutions to regional ownership. This means that as a result of the reorganization, layoffs of employees are not planned, jobs will be saved.

In 2022, with the assistance of the employment service, more than 61,000 people found work. Specialists of employment centers form individual complexes of services and services. Applicants are offered options for suitable jobs, sent for training in new professions, and before meeting with the employer they are taught the skills of effective interviewing and self-presentation.

Earlier we reported that on December 19 in Taganrog there will be job fair for Tander JSC.
