The dates for the unified state exam (USE), the main state exam (OGE) and the state final exam (GVE) in 2023 were approved by the Ministry of Education of Russia and Rosobrnadzor, the official portal of the regional government reports. The main period of the 2023 certification campaign will end on July 1.
The early period of the exam will be held from March 20 to April 19, the main period from May 26 to July 1, and the additional period from September 6 to September 19. According to Igor Guskov, First Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region, now the region continues to accept applications for passing the Unified State Examination, it will end on February 1.
The main period of the Unified State Examination will open on May 26 with exams in geography, literature and chemistry. The exam in the Russian language in 2023 is scheduled for May 29. The USE in mathematics at the basic and profile levels will be held on June 1.
Traditionally, for the Unified State Examination in Informatics and ICT and the “Speaking” section of the exam in foreign languages, a single schedule provides for two days each. The “Speaking” section of the Unified State Examination in foreign languages is planned to be held on June 16 and 17, the Unified State Examination in Informatics and ICT – on June 19 and 20. This is due to the fact that the tasks in these subjects are performed on computers.
Exams in history and physics will be held on June 5, the Unified State Examination in Social Studies on June 8, the Unified State Examination in Biology and the written part of the Unified State Examination in Foreign Languages on June 13.
The OGE for graduates of the 9th grade is also divided into three periods: early (from April 21 to May 16), main (from May 24 to July 1) and additional (from September 4 to 23).
