Sarajevo man sentenced to compulsory labor for drunk driving

The Sarajevo District Court sentenced a resident of the district center to compulsory work. The court handed down such a sentence to a 36-year-old man for drunk driving.

As Elena Belova, press secretary of the court, said, the man had already been brought to administrative responsibility for a similar offense.

But on July 15 of this year, he again got behind the wheel drunk. By car Volkwaqen Passat, the man decided to go to the grocery store. He was stopped by the traffic police. The breathalyzer showed 0.981 milligrams of alcohol per liter of exhaled air. The man was removed from office.

The Sarajevo court found the man guilty under Part 1 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. He was assigned 200 hours of compulsory work.
