Uzbekistan intends to buy 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia every year

Every year, Uzbekistan will purchase 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia on a commercial basis. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Asadov.

The ceremony for the start of gas supplies will be attended today by the leaders of three countries: Vladimir Putin, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

How wrote Public news service, Russian resident Vladimir Putin intends, together with his colleague from Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to participate in the ceremony of launching Russian gas supplies to the republic through Kazakhstan.

The President of the Russian Federation made a corresponding statement during a conversation with journalists following the negotiations between Moscow and Tashkent.
