Russian President Vladimir Putin said that during searches in the offices of businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, narcotic substances were discovered. According to him, law enforcement officers found 5 kg of cocaine and 10 billion rubles.
Speaking at the plenary session of the Valdai Forum, he admitted that after the plane crash with the businessman, no additional examination was carried out.
The Russian leader noted that perhaps the bodies should have been checked for the presence of drugs or alcohol.
“But, I repeat once again, in my opinion, such an examination should have been carried out, but it was not carried out,” Putin concluded.
