In Ryazan summed up the results of the regional competition “Children teach”

On Thursday, December 15, in the Ryazan “Boiling Point” the results of the regional competition “Children Teach” were summed up.

The project has been implemented in the region since 2020. Its meaning is that children teach adults how to work with digital technologies. Training takes place on a special platform, where you need to register, and where special tasks are posted. Their range is diverse: from working with text in the Word program to actions on the Gosuslugi platform.

Basically, as the organizers say, children undertake to teach their relatives – parents, grandparents. Some help to master digital skills and their school teachers.

“This competition is held in the Ryazan region for the fourth time. I believe that it is very important both for children who are learning to communicate with the older generation, and for adults who are mastering modern digital platforms. Already now, both the registration of benefits and the appointment with the doctor are being transferred to digital format. If adults now fall behind, it will not be easy for them in the coming years, ”says Anastasia Goryacheva, head of IT promotion at ANO Digital Region.

The most active young participants of the next competition “Children teach” this time were:

  • The team of Ukholovsky high school;
  • The team of the Kadom secondary school named after S.Ya. Batysheva;
  • The team of secondary school No. 106 of the city of Sasovo;
  • The team of the Kazachinsky secondary school (Shatsk district).

The final of the competition consisted of several stages. The children answered the quiz questions, and then went through a master class organized by the Ryazan College of Electronics.

By the way

This time, about 1,000 Ryazan schoolchildren participated in the correspondence stage of the competition. They have taught digital skills to about 1,300 adults.
