The Academic Hall of the Russian Academy of Sciences will show the family musical “Lukomorye” – the legendary production of the Triumph production center, which was included in the Russian book of records as the first national musical with a Russian libretto.
For more than 10 years, the performance, created based on Russian epics and fairy tales by Alexander Pushkin, has delighted the audience with a harmonious combination of classics and modern technologies.
Princesses, bogatyrs and princes live in Lukomorye, a funny goblin roams the swamp, and the treacherous Koschei the Deathless languishes in a gloomy dungeon. The scene of the New Year’s musical changes and comes to life before our eyes: a green oak with a golden chain in the blink of an eye turns into the lair of Baba Yaga, the Kingdom of Flowers or a mysterious forest in which unknown animals and a kind wizard live – Old Man Borovichok.
Together with the heroes of the musical “Lukomorye”, the viewer sets off on a journey through three kingdoms, in which an exciting struggle between light and darkness unfolds. But there is nothing to be afraid of! Lukomorsky villains are charming, funny in their own way and make you laugh heartily, so brave heroes and wise beauties will certainly outwit the fabulous dirty tricks. And this means that good will prevail, and the audience will have an inspiring and, of course, a happy ending!
New Year’s musical “Lukomorye” viewers will remember the original costumes, fantastic make-up, large-scale scenery, magnificent musical numbers, spectacular tricks and virtuoso acting. Fantastic miracles on stage make you forget that a fairy tale is just fiction!
Already in the foyer, an enchanting interlude at the New Year tree with Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden awaits the little spectators, which will begin an hour before the main performance. Additionally, you can purchase a sweet New Year’s gift.
