Police personnel intervened on a lead vehicle with license plate A3D 571 near Risso and Tomás Guido avenues. Inside the car, there was the driver and three women who are dedicated to the field of prostitution. All were taken to the district police station for the corresponding proceedings.

It is worth mentioning that it is estimated that there are between 250 and 300 women who are dedicated to sex work in the aforementioned areas of Lince. Most of the victims are of Venezuelan nationalityalthough there are also some from Colombia and Ecuador, and a few others from Peru.

“Many of these young women have low self-esteem. They are mistreated, constantly threatened and exposed to continue working, even though they may be sick,” said Ángela Villón, president of the Miluska, Vida y Dignidad Association of Sex Workers.

The women who are brought to Peru, under deception, must pay one daily fee to his pimps, who constantly use intimidation and death threats against them or their families. Those who do not comply with their criminal requirements have been murdered.

According to information provided by police sources to Infobae Peru, each of them is requested to pay 700 soles per week. Those who are younger, between 18 and 21 years old, can pay a higher amount due to the large number of clients they serve daily.

These organizations dedicated to sexual exploitation in the Risso area can generate monthly income that exceeds 850 thousand soles. Reason that explains why this area is an object of desire for criminal groups, including the Tren de Aragua and some of its most violent factions. The large profit has even triggered confrontations between them.
