Governor of Aguascalientes launched pro-life initiative that seeks to counteract SCJN ruling

The governor emphasized the importance of establishing a “rule of law” based on a humanist doctrine that defends human rights from the very beginning of conception.

In a subsequent press conference, Governor Tere Jiménez reiterated her personal disagreement with the decriminalization of abortion and stressed that her government will not force doctors to perform abortions.
