Spassky police officers uncovered the theft at a livestock farm

The head of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Pavlovka, Spassky District, turned to the police. The man reported that a drinking system for livestock was missing from the farm building. Equipment made of metal pipes was dismantled and taken away.

Investigators found out that the intruder entered the premises through the service door. Only the farm workers knew about it. After questioning the staff, the police found that a 50-year-old local resident who used to work here may be involved in the theft. He was tracked down and arrested.

According to preliminary information, the suspect, when working on a farm, noticed a secret door. Through it, he made his way to the farm at night and dismantled the drinking system. He took the equipment to his home, and later handed it over to Ryazan for scrap.

As reported on the website of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs on December 20, a criminal case was opened against the suspect under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft with illegal entry into a vault or dwelling). He faces up to five years in prison.
