Vigo, March 22 (EFE).- Supported by some of his former teammates at RC Celta such as Iago Aspas, Unai Núñez, Kevin Vázquez and Iván Villar, Villarreal footballer Denis Suárez presented this Friday the foundation that bears his name , in an event that was held at the Palacio de la Oliva, in Vigo.
“Now it is my turn to give back to Galicia and my people everything you have given me during these years,” declared Denis Suárez during the presentation event, in which funds were raised for the ARELA Association, dedicated to promoting the comprehensive development of childhood and youth in Galicia.
Among the many auctions that were organized, Andrés Iniesta’s shirt was the most requested by fans, despite the fact that the offer included shirts from Álvaro Morata, Ter Stegen, Sergi Roberto, Pepe Reina, Sergio Busquets or a jersey from the cyclist Alberto Contador .
The event was also attended by, among others, the mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero, the vice president of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, Rafa Domínguez, and representatives of RC Celta. EFE
