Athens, Dec 7 (EFE).- The president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the prime minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, have promised this Thursday in Athens to meet at least once a year to boost bilateral relations after years of tensions .

“We have agreed to see each other frequently, at least once a year,” Erdogan said in a joint press conference with his host, after recalling that it is his first visit to the Greek capital in seven years.

Mitsotakis, for his part, reported the signing of an “agreement of friendship and good neighborliness” and, after also advocating for increasing the frequency of meetings, said he was willing to travel to Ankara in the spring.
