The results of the All-Russian competition were summed up in Rybny

December 14 in Rybny at the Federal Scientific Center for Beekeeping summed up the results of the All-Russian competition of children’s drawings. This year it was called “A bee sits down on every flower, but it does not take honey from every one.”

The competition of drawings of the Federal Scientific Center for Beekeeping has been held for several years. Each time the geography of the competition and the number of participants increase. This year, more than 1,700 drawings were sent from all over Russia. There were participants from Ryazan, Moscow, Leningrad, Voronezh, Sverdlovsk, Vladimir, Kirov regions, Bryansk, Belgorod, the Altai Republic and others.

This year, the participants in their work had to try to uncover the factors that have a negative impact on bees. Among them are industrial pollution of the environment; irrational use of pesticides in agriculture; dangerous diseases of bees, leading to their mass death.

The works were evaluated in four categories: children under 10 years old, 11–14 years old, 15–18 years old; children with disabilities.

The jury included the chairman of the board of the Ryazan branch of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSHR) Vladimir Krivov, artist-painter, teacher of the highest category Yulia Bagaeva, head of the art department of the Children’s Art School No. 5 in Ryazan Lilia Mazalova, specialists from the Federal Scientific Center for Beekeeping and others. When choosing the winners, the jury took into account, first of all, compliance with the theme of the competition. Mastery of execution, originality of the plot, disclosure of the title of the work, imagery and compositional solution.

Winners and awards

In the nomination “Children under 10” the winner was Elizaveta Molodchinina from Sasovo. Among participants aged 11–14, Sofia Bannaya from Bryansk won. In the nomination “Children 15-18 years old” Anna Kutuzova from Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk region.

Among children with disabilities, Ilya Kiselev from the Suzdal special (correctional) orphanage in the Vladimir region won.

The jury awarded Vera Matveeva and Daria Ushakova from Ryazan with a special diploma. Vyacheslav Spirin from the city of Murino, Leningrad Region, also received a special diploma.

All participants and project leaders will receive certificates of participation. The winners of the competition are diplomas and valuable prizes.

The co-organizer of the competition this time was the Breeding Center (association) for the Central Russian breed of honey bees (FGBNU “FANC of the North-East named after N.V. Rudnitsky”). The partners of the competition are the Government of the Ryazan Region, the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Ryazan Region, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Ryazan Region, the Creative Union of Artists of Russia.
