The Supreme shaman of Russia and the leader of the Kyzyl shamanic organization “Adyg-Eeren” (“Spirit of the Bear”) Kara-ool Dopchun-ool spoke about his initiative to have shamans visit Russian military personnel in the zone of a special military operation.
After the start of the SVO, he turned to the Russian Ministry of Defense with a request to give the shamans permission to visit Russian soldiers.
“In the first time after the start of the special operation, I turned to the Ministry of Defense with a request that the shamans be allowed to the front, to the soldiers,” Kara-ool Dopchun-ool said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He added that shamans perform rituals to protect military personnel.
“We always ask the Sun, the stars, the Moon for them, we do rituals so that they have protection, so that they are brave and lucky, and return alive and healthy,” said Kara-ool Dopchun-ool.
Retired Lieutenant General Evgeniy Buzhinsky previously statedthat the timing of the end of the special operation in Ukraine will largely depend on the results of the offensive of the Ukrainian troops. He expressed hope that the active phase of the conflict will end by the end of 2023.
