The Sapozhkovsky District Court pronounced a verdict on two residents of the district. This was announced on December 16 in the press service of the department.
As the court established, in the spring of this year, the defendants stole 78 metal sheets in the village of Kanino. After that, they fled the scene of the crime.
At the meeting, the men repented of their deeds. The court found them guilty of theft (clause “a” part 2 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, secret theft of another’s property committed by a group of persons by prior agreement). They were sentenced to compulsory works: one – 200 hours, the second – 210 hours.
The verdict has not entered into force and can be appealed on appeal.
